Brownie Recipe
Brownies are chocolate desserts that strike the perfect balance between fudgy firmness and cake-like density, making them a delicious treat for anyone who enjoys sweets. My recipe is quick and easy, using simple ingredients that you probably already have in your kitchen—no need to go shopping!
Ingredients
½ cup butter
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 ⅓ cups sugar
⅔ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
2 large eggs(room temperature)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract(optional)
1 teaspoon instant coffee/espresso powder(optional)
½ teaspoon salt
½ cup all-purpose flour
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips + more for topping
Instructions
Combine melted butter with oil, sugar, and cocoa powder into a bow, mix into a smooth sandy mixture
Mix in the eggs, vanilla, espresso/coffee powder, and salt.
Slowly stir in the flour mix, pour it into the mixture gradually
(By now you should have a thick batter that’s a slightly sandy texture)
Add in the chocolate chips
Spread the batter into the baking pan (cover it with baking sheet/foil) and top with additional chocolate chips/toppings if you’d like
Bake for 20-25 minutes until the top becomes glossy, you can try to insert a toothpick into the brownie, when you take it out, it should be dry (don’t over bake it, make sure the top is not rock solid when it’s in the oven!)
Cool down, cut, and enjoy!
(*For best results, enjoy your brownies right away. If you’d like to store it for later, keep it in a sealed container.)
