Lucas G., Boys Junior Varsity Basketball

Lucas G. delivered a standout week, helping cap off JV basketball’s historic season in an impressive fashion. In the February 9 matchup against Lakeland, Lucas led all scorers with 16 points, showing his ability to finish at the rim and knock down shots from beyond the arc. He followed that performance with a season-high 25 points in Greeley’s 2/13 victory against Carmel, sealing the Quakers a win to cap off the 20-0 season.

Jaxson T., Boys Varsity Basketball

In the League Championship game against Fox Lane on February 6, Jaxson set the tone early, shooting the lights out with 13 first-half points to help propel the Quakers to a League title. On Senior Night against Carmel, Jaxson electrified the crowd when he threw down a dunk. Immediately on the next possession, he brought the house down again as the crowd chanted “JT”. With momentum on his side, we anticipate Jaxson T. to stay hot as we head into the playoffs.

Arden A., Track

In the Purple invitational at the Armory on 2/7, senior captain Arden A. broke the 8.0-second barrier in the 55 meter, putting her at 7th all-time on the Greeley indoor list. This milestone performance officially places her in the record books and caps off a phenomenal senior season.

Gillian R., Track

Senior captain Gillian R. also solidified her name in the record books at the Purple Invitational. Gillian ran a stellar 1:48 in the 600 meter, moving her up to 4th in school history. The new personal record serves as a fitting conclusion to her impressive senior campaign.
